To the man commuting in his polaris slingshot this morning. I salute you in the comfort of my car while you drive around in 20 ° F.

That sounds both amazing and terrible at the same time.
I guess it’s like a snowmobile for the street?
Side note for random typed thoughts: These are a riot to drive. 10/10 would daily

At least he doesn’t have to look at it while driving

I’ve thought before that I’d daily an Atom if I owned one. A slingshot is much more affordable.

Meh, he has a windshield. That’s better than a local guy who drives topless/doorless/windshieldless in his Wrangler, all year long. Wears a Santa costume this time of year while doing it.

I best some one could make good money on a smooth body kit for these. Something simple even 50's era Porsche inspired.

They are a lot of fun to drive. Traction can definitely be an issue, even with TC on I was able to keep the tire broke loose through 3rd gear. That being said, the traction issue is easily overcome by simply controlling your right foot.

First time I saw one it was being hooned and drifted from a side road in front of me. The guy was buttoned up a bit but still. The wind chill is not to be messed with here.

Sounds great to me. I learned the “right foot method” of traction control pretty early, but driving a 5.0 manual Foxbody on ice will make that second nature.

I enjoy cars that make you work to put the power down.

Same. I love learning to rein in a beast.
